Tennessee Titans three-time Pro Bowler Frank Wycheck and representatives from Tennessee State Treasury and Regions Bank played Visa’s Financial Football at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Leadership Conference on July 5. In 2016, Visa and FCCLA announced their partnership to help high school students sharpen their fiscal skills. Visa’s award-winning financial education materials are offered as part of the FCCLA’s financial education program. Financial Fitness seeks to inform and inspire teens to sharpen their money management, consumerism and financial planning skills. Wycheck was joined by Visa’s Head of U.S. Financial Education Hugh Norton, Area President of Middle Tennessee Regions Financial Corporation Jim Schmitz, Vice President and Marketing Director for Middle TN Area Brian O’Meara, and Director of the Tennessee Financial Literacy Commission Bill Parker at the FCCLA Leadership Conference
Materials from Practical Money Skills are made available to all of the FCCLA’s 160,000 plus members in more than 5,400 chapters across the United States.
