Hi and welcome back to my kitchen. Smooth buttercream sides and sharp edges can be so satisfying, but sometimes it's fun to add some texture onto the side of your buttercream cakes. In this weeks cake decorating tutorial I'm showing you how you can add rustic stripes into your buttercream (this is perfect for a rustic wedding cake), how to use a texture contour comb to add a fun finish to your cake and how to use stencils on the outside of your buttercream cakes to make them stand out.
I really hope you enjoy the tutorial and will be able to use some of these techniques in your own cake decorating. Let me know in the comments which is your favourite? Thank you so much for watching and don't forget to subscribe for more cake decorating tutorials!
