This Alienware M17 R3 has some high performance technology and it's in my computer repair shop because it's overheating just like every other gaming laptop that comes through my doors. The cause of this is of course multiple blankets of lint clogging the heatsink and forcing the CPU and GPU to cook themselves. So I'm cleaning it out and replacing the thermal paste. These high tech fans are very powerful and that means they collect all the dust floating around in your room.
