Buying new gear is awesome, getting a puff jacket or a backcountry knife can completely change the adventure you are on, but REI and Patagonia are now selling used gear. While REI has been selling used gear at their stores, they now have a whole website dedicated to used gear. Patagonia has a website as well. While you may not find everything you need, you may save some money.
