how to make chicken liver pate
This video shows you how to make a beautiful and creamy chicken liver pate, well actually its a liver parfait as we are straining in to make it really smooth and cooking it in a Bain Marie and not just cooking it and blitzing it like a normal pate.
this chicken liver pate recipe is perfect to make ahead of time for parties or small gatherings and as its home made it come with a huge sense of pride and without all them nasty preservatives you would find in the shop bought one.
you will need:
700g chicken livers
150ml cream
80g butter
2 eggs
thyme
rosemary
1/2 white onion
3 cloves of garlic
nutmeg
black pepper
salt
150ml red wine
2 bay leaves
