Small City Lot turned into {ULTIMATE Outdoor Entertaining Space}

Hi, here we are in a little inner City property in Northeast Portland – and we turned it into the ultimate Outdoor Entertaining Space - creating a courtyard, a Small Space Transformation with Maximization Destination. You won't believe it - so enjoy this video with loads of great content.

We’ve added a small, covered space and a second covered space at the second story of their house. It’s a cool destination – and - underneath that top balcony-deck it’s watertight (courtyard) for maximum enjoyment during varying weather.

We’ll show you what we’ve created - the design, the before photos and then let you also see the reveal.

This smaller size property has some design features that allow for extra destinations. Such as the courtyard. When you're thinking about a courtyard, it's very important to create separation. Notice the boundary walls (product: Belgard) with fencing that gives extra privacy and little bit of separation.

The courtyard space becomes a larger outdoor living space with a rectangular fire pit, dining area with seatwalls & plantings, a bar table with stools, privacy screen, little garden patch that looks lovely and delicious.

An amazing focal point of this design . . . the homeowners especially wanted to walk out onto a balcony-deck straight off their inside dining-living area. That meant replacing 3 windows with French doors and building a roomy deck.

A revamp of their front deck and stairway is another jaw-dropper. Enjoy this small space transformation with maximum destinations.
