During the NFL Draft's week of festivities in Nashville, TN., NMAAM hosted "Sounds of Social Justice," a fundraising event focused on the intersection of music, athletes and activism. Following the moderated panel discussion were live musical performances focused on the social justice movement by local soul singer Jason Eskridge and local female R&B trio The Shindellas.
