This project evolved many times over and I take you along for the journey :)
The original plan was to Ombre Dye the linen jacket. If that's the one you liked the most, check out this tutorial - [ Ссылка ]
I am so in love with the way that the finished project came out and after doing a full styling session at the end, I realize how wearable it really is!
FAQ
HOW TO WASH AND CARE FOR THIS?
Alright, remember this is DYE and not paint.
And this is an ACRYLIC PAINT PEN and not just regular markers.
You can totally wash this!! Just as when you wash something that you have tie-dyed, there may be some fading from the initial color.
To reduce the chances of that, you can wash on a super quick wash setting. But there is no need to set this, the way you need to when painting with watercolor and fabric medium.
You have DYED the fabric, not painted on it.
My jacket is Dry Clean only, so that is how I will care for it.
But I made one for my sister, which I did machine wash, and the only thing that faded a little was the Rit Dye. The Jacquard powder and Paint Marker did not!
