Deep in BC's Selkirk Mountains, exists a lake so clear, it's shores can be known as only one thing. Valhalla.
This video covers my 4 day solo canoeing adventure on Slocan Lake, and the shores of Valhalla provincial park. I've never been out here before, so follow along as I discover this beautiful area as I go. This is Part 1, it covers day 1 and a half, and follows me from my Start at New Denver, to Wragge Beach,, and then back down all the way to the abandoned trappers cabin at Cove Creek. I see some waterfalls, sandy beaches, clear water, pictograpghs, shipwrecks, and more. This is probably the greatest canoe trip of all time!
