STORYLINE:
Many streets and roads in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, were flooded on Wednesday due to heavy rains the day before.
Cars drove, half-submerged, through the deep water in the city and pictures showed an underpass completely flooded with vehicles trapped in the deep water.
The owner of one of the vehicles, Abu Ibrahim, blamed the Municipality of Baghdad for the lack of services.
"No good sewers and no drainage caused such a bad situation," he said.
Another resident, enterprisingly using the shell of a refrigerator to travel through the water, said that cars were too difficult to drive in the flooded streets.
''The streets are filled with water. Cars are overflowing with it," he said.
