I read a short review of the film before watching it and so expected it to be a typical Korean comedy. But it surprised me with credible drama and lots of parkour-style action as well. So this is Secretly, Greatly.


Secretly, greatly movie starts off as a comedy and veers off into a drama with a graphic, violent ending. Had the film stuck to one genre, the result would’ve been more cohesive and effective. Still, it’s a worthwhile film that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. This movie had everything - exciting plot, laughter, tears, good acting, good scenes, everything. I strongly recommend it to anyone, regardless of your genre preferences. I really believe that it is a Secretly, greatly movie worth seeing and it will not let you down.
