The National Palace Museum’s collection has just become 12 items bigger, thanks to a donation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The additions comprise four bronze ware pieces, five ceramic works and three ink paintings. Let’s hear more.

There are so many national treasures, so it would be a pity if these artifacts were to remain unseen. Without the proper research it would’ve been impossible to assess their value. These are real artifacts, and they all have their own stories.

We’re also interested in another five paintings and four calligraphy works we saw. We hope the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will donate them to the National Palace Museum as well. That’s what Minister Lin promised just now.
The National Palace Museum will be celebrating its centenary next year with exhibitions both in Taiwan and abroad. Several artifacts will be on show at the National Museum in Prague, to share the museum’s collections with the world.
