This is the final part of our European Van Life Trip which was the first proper campervan holiday we've had in our self-built campervan Carlo!
In this video we head from Austria into Slovenia and visit the gorgeous city of Ljubljana followed by a trip 5km into the caves of Postojna. We then drove across the border into Italy to stay at a small campsite near Trieste on the way to our final big destination in this holiday - Venice!
We stayed at a campsite about 10 mins away from the city which was perfect. A 3 Euro bus got us into Venice in a few minutes and we were able to explore this picturesque and interesting city. It wasn't too busy so we were luck and we spent most of our time exploring off the beaten track, away from the tourist hot spots which really paid off.
Our final night in Italy, and the final place we visited, was a village called Trisobbio which had a fantastic free campervan parking area just outside and stunning views across the valleys and to the mountains in the distance. This really was rural Italy and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this little spot.
