President Cyril Ramaphosa is today due to testify at the SA Human Rights Commission inquiry into the July 2021 civil unrest. He will testify about his responsibility as the head of state during the unrest. A wave of looting and protests engulfed KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, claiming more than 300 lives.
