In the 1950s, the French countryside had its own traditions and way of life. Agriculture had yet to be automated and the harvest was an adventure that only older generations remember today. Film director Jean-Christophe Laforge decided, with the help of the villagers of Busserole, to recreate the olden days and capture them on film. FRANCE 24 takes you on a journey back in time, at the crossroads of the French regions of Périgord, Limousin and Angoumois.
