You need more than one account to save and balance your wants and needs. Can’t save and pay bills from one account. You need multiple recurring accounts.
In this video I talk about five personal accounts you need to constantly have money coming from your paycheck to each of these accounts, these are called recurring accounts.

And if you own a business or several businesses you need a merchant account for each business. You do not use your main account which is your operational account to write checks or pay bills. You pay all business bills from your merchant account.

Stenell combined her passion for entrepreneurship and building healthy, rewarding relationships to author Who’s Gonna Pay The Mortgage?: A Woman’s Guide to Relationship Recovery in 2010. She is currently working on a new publication titled Whippin Debt’s Ass!, set to be released in the fall. Stenell is also the creator of I-Female Magazine, designed to inspire, motivate and encourage women of all ages.
Likely her most significant testament to helping youth and adults overcome financial, social, emotional and academic obstacles was the creation of JOY (Just Our Youth: Making a Difference) in 2014. JOY is an afterschool youth academic enrichment program striving to help families break the generational cycle of poverty through educational and career achievement. In the same year, Stenell also founded A Second Touch, a Support Coordination New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)funded service that assists individuals in gaining access to needed programs, state plan services, as well as medical, social and educational services.
Stenell’s love for counseling, drove her to establish A Better Me Incorporated in 2017. Partnering with her son and The New Jersey Children’s System of Care (CSOC), a division of the Department of Children and Families, the program provides an array of integrated and trauma-informed supports and services to youth with behavioral health challenges, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or substance use needs. Services and outreach through A Better Me Incorporated continue to grow to this day.
Stenell lives by her personal motto: “If your personal finances are not in order, your business finances will not be in order.” As such, Stenell became a financial coach through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Coach Master Training. Her training and expertise led her to launch the online school Money Therapy Institute, with the central mission to assists those struggling with their finances to formulate a financial treatment and budget that is tailored to their needs.
