Try out this wonderful Winter Special Matar Pulao recipe which has an exotic flavour of spices and the freshness of peas, combined to give an amazing pulao for any time bhoga offering.
Servings - 4
Ingredients :
1½ cup basmati rice
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seed
2 bay leaves
1 star anise
2 cinnamon stick
5 cloves
2 cardamom
2 big cardamom
½ tsp asafoetida or hing
1 chopped green chilli
½ inch chopped ginger
10 to 12 cashews
1 cup fresh green peas
1 medium sized diced potato
2½ cup water
1 tsp salt or as per your taste
½ tsp biryani pulao masala
1 tbsp lemon juice
Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves.
