Anxiety can fuel your imagination in all sorts of ways. When it is dark and quiet at night it is easy to think of all sorts of what if scenarios that can leave you feeling unsafe.
Learning to sleep on your own is a lifelong skill. There are many times in our lives that we will need to sleep on our own. Going to bed with our adrenaline pumping makes it hard for our body to have good quality sleep. We are often sleeping with one eye open, listening for sounds and signs of danger.
In this week’s YouTube video I talk about how anxiety can make us feel unsafe at night and what we can do about it.
