Planting my propagated kiwi vine cuttings! We are in CT, zone 6, and we're growing 2 kiwi (actinidia arguta) vine plants over a cattle panel trellis. They grew so much last year. We haven’t gotten any kiwi berries yet, but that is to be expected. Back in November, I pruned back my dormant kiwi vines. I saved some of the cuttings and put them in a bottle of water on a window sill that gets a lot of sun. They started growing leaves and roots, and now I am seeing shoots starting to grow so I think it’s time to try and put these into the soil and get them to grow.
