Hey guys! this is part 2 or continuation to the other video where I unboxed SLGs for my birthday and this is the big gift from the hubby.
Honestly I didn't think I would ever get to have this bag so it was such a happy surprise to me when hubby told me he'd get it for me because with these crazy nonstop Chanel yearly price increases, it felt like my dream was getting further and further from me. The price increases had me feeling so much regret already on passing from the year before when it wasn't as expensive as now but it is what it is. At least now I can check this off my bucket list lol and someday look back and be glad I got it. Seriously though, these Chanel price increases are starting to get INSANE! right?
Anyways, again I got the small coco handle with lizard print handle.
At the time of purchase it cost 5900 before tax and about 6350 after taxes!
My SA was absolutely sweet and wonderful for keeping me updated and always telling me about the shipments. so grateful for her!
I initially worried about the slight lopsided look to the flap, but a friend suggested to me to just move it a bit until it gets used to it haha and it actually did work so now it's completely symmetrical!!
Also I know I did so much inspection during this video, but that was because I'm so paranoid about stitching and looking for defects now! You only have a 14 day return policy for a full refund so you really gotta make sure you check every little stitch and corner especially when you're paying so much for these things! It's sad but I have been seeing a lot of people complaining about catching defects on their bags and that quality is not the same as the past despite these price increases.
For me it's just always been a dream to get a Chanel leather bag, but I can definitely understand and see what they're saying! How do you feel about these crazy price increases and recent quality? Do you think they're still worth it?
