The car will eventually belch out all the air, But sometimes the car will start to overheat because of this air. For years I have struggled to find a way to get the air out of the system especially when the radiator is lower than some parts of the engine. I found this funnel device that brings the coolant higher than the highest point of the engine. I usually run the car for about 15 minutes and watch the air bleed out of the system.
