We entered Oregon via Astoria-Megler bridge, crossing Columbia River and drove south to border with California near Brookings.
We visited places like:
Astoria-Megler Bridge: an iconic steel truss bridge that spans the Columbia River, connecting Astoria, Oregon, with Megler, Washington.
Fort Stevens: Located on the Oregon coast, is a former military installation turned into state park. It features the remains of a historic fort, military bunkers, and a museum. Visitors can explore the fort's underground tunnels, hike or bike the park's trails, and enjoy camping and beach access.
Ecola State Park: Ecola State Park is a stunning coastal park near Cannon Beach. It boasts panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, lush forests, and beautiful sandy beaches. Highlights include the famous Indian Beach, where scenes from Twilight movie were filmed.

Lincoln City : is a charming coastal town famous for its pristine beaches and abundant outdoor activities. It's renowned for its delicious smoked salmon, which is a local specialty.
Whale Watching Center: Located in Depoe Bay, is a popular destination for observing the annual migration of gray whales. It offers informative exhibits, interactive displays, and trained volunteers to help visitors spot whales from the observation deck.
Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area: Yaquina Head is a stunning headland featuring the iconic Yaquina Head Lighthouse. This lighthouse was used in horror movie The Ring
