In this video I've made a guide of replacing a faulty game card reader on the Nintendo switch. The most common issue is damaged pins. The device will say it can't read the game. With a basic small screws toolkit and a replacement, this is an easy and straight-forward repair. The replacement part had a fault that made the repair go a step further than normal. I had to solder a new reader to the old board to rig a working PCB.
