The first TRML-4D multi-function radar system was delivered to Ukraine. This is part of four high-performance radars Germany will deliver to Ukraine to strengthen the IRIS-T air defense system.
After being delivered to Ukraine, Germany's TRML-4D radar is expected to help the country's air defense forces improve their ability to deal with modern enemy attack weapons.
The delivery took place within the framework of a contract between Ukraine and another German company - Diehl Defense, the producer of IRIS-T SLM air defense missile systems, of which the first system has officially defended the skies of Ukraine.
The characteristics of the TRML-4D radar were introduced in 2018 and customer deliveries begin in 2020, making it the most advanced in the segment.
