Families and friends of officers killed in the line of duty, police officers, civilian police staff, the media and the public are invited to attend the Ontario Police Memorial Foundation Ceremony of Remembrance on the first Sunday of May annually in downtown Toronto on Queen's Park Crescent, at the site of the Ontario Police Memorial.
In this video, filmed to raise awareness of and increase participation in the annual Ceremony of Remembrance, Toronto Police Officer Tyrone Hilton, the Officer Commanding of the Toronto Police Chief's Ceremonial Unit candidly talks about the personal meaning of the event, and the Memorial Wall, which has two personal connections for Tyrone, the line of duty deaths of Toronto Police officers Laura Ellis and Todd Baylis.
