Zaatar Fatayer, this is wonderful Palestian bread made with a vibrant mixture of fresh Zaatar, onions, sumac and feta cheese (that’s my addition) folded in a pastry dough. Bake in the oven until it has a golden brown colour, serve with some cucumbers, tomatoes and your favourite condiments and don’t forget a cup of tea on the side. Hope you enjoy this recipe!

Ingredients:
-3 cups flour
-1 tsp salt
-1 tsp instant year
-1/3 cup olive oil
-1 cup hand warm water
Mix all the ingredient together. Allow the dough to rest for one hour. Form into small golf size balls.
Zaatar mixture:
100 g fresh zaatar
2 onion, finely chopped
30 grams sumac
1 tsp salt
1 cup feta cheese (optional)
Lot and lots of olive oil
