As you and your team start attending in-person events again, here are 10 tips to help you get the most out of the networking opportunities. Networking at a conference is the most important part of attending an in-person event. Too many people who up with hopes of making connections, and then they fail at the networking.

1. Have a plan
2. Bring business cards
3. Focus on meeting peers, not the “stars”
4. Talk to the people around you
5. Ask questions of others
6. Put your technology away
7. Do not send LinkedIn request too fast
8. Read their social media feeds
9. Introduce people to each other
10. Follow up after the event
11. Do a little extra
