I know sometimes people just want to get an idea about what a firearm looks like without sitting through a technical dissertation. As a result of that thought, I'm brainstorming some concepts for doing short videos featuring various Colt rifles and carbines. I'm thinking the video would be one minute to two and a half minutes long. Ideally, it would give the viewer a look at both sides of the rifle or carbine.

One challenge is steady hold of the video recording device while also being able to move along the length of the featured firearm. I will research what technological solutions there might be for that.

The second challenge is accomplishing the 180-degree rotation of the firearm without completely disrupting the flow of the video. That might be an unreasonable expectation on my part.

Do you like the overall concept of having a series of videos that just give you a quick look at something?

Longer videos would still be done and posted separately.

A third challenge is consistent focus/lighting while moving.
