A sore throat is a very common problem in children and it can manifest as the child's refusal to feed or the child is irritable or maybe cough in some, the child may also vomit due to this. Most of the sore throat is self limiting and will get cured in two or three days.. If the child is more than 5 years old, he can gargle with an antiseptic solution. If there is a lot of irritation, he can take something honey or ginger based. If the child is small, he can take sips of warm water.
