Beyoncé unveiled her visual album titled "Black is King" which many see as a retelling of the famous Disney story "The Lion King" through the lens of Queen Bey. The album and movie that followed was beautiful in my opinion and was stacked with fashion looks from designers from all over the world. With brands like Tongoro Studios, Maison Valentino, Alon Livne, Loza Maleombho, Marine Serre, Wendy Nichol, Monsoori, D. Bleu. Dazzled, Balmain, Area, Burberry, and more! Her stylist Zerina Akers delivered so many different styles that told so many different stories and referenced so many different aspects of West Africa and Southern Africa cultural and historical dress. It was a delight to see Beyonce showcase such a range of styles and looks in a film that she controlled!
