The new biometric payment card enrollment process can be initiated and completed according to the card holders convenience at home or at the branch. The enrollment procedure consists of taking the card holders finger print and this reference data is encrypted and securely stored in the payment cards chip, thereby enabling safe payment transactions. For the card holder to have their biometric data protected and for using their payment card securely, they have to go through the enrollment process. Another layer of security is added so that the card holders data is never shared with the merchants or the Organizations.
