Karl Malone scored 31 points and hauled in 14 rebounds as he lead the Utah Jazz to a 91-81 victory over the Nuggets in game 7. Malone answered in a big way after 3 straight sub par games in the series with 22 points in the first half. Malone was eager and willing to be "the man" here as he had himself involved both offensively and defensively.
The win sent the Jazz to the Western Conference Finals and shut the door on the Cinderella Nuggets from overcoming a 0-3 deficit.
Karl Malone was really fired up in this one and you could see his passion and drive early on. Also, lets not forget the monstrous defensive presence Dikembe Mutumbo had in this series.
