Principles for the sound management of operational risk and the role of supervision, as stated in the Basel II-document.
The Basel Committee for Banking Supervision publishes guidelines to help bankers and supervisors alike in implementing the Basel Accords. In June 2011, the Bank for International Settlements published the document "Principles for the Sound Management of Operational Risk". The document was written in the wake of the Basel II Accord. The document provides some further explanations and advice on how to implement an operational risk framework. The video at hand provides a resumé of this document in plan English. Of course the video cannot replace the full reading of the document, but the film gives you a good idea of the document's content. Good luck!
