On June 30, 2023, Walmart's loss prevention team alerted officers to a suspected shoplifter. The caller reported that a white female, wearing a gray and black shirt, had been observed concealing items both in person and on video surveillance. Upon the officer's arrival, he noticed the suspect running from the west doors of the store, abandoning a cart full of items. The officer managed to pursue the suspect, as she tried to flee the scene.
The footage on Watch cop cam have been obtained directly from the respective Police Departments. We as a media company have the right to use it commercially. Most incidents may require a fee associated with the request and take several days to process.
