About The Video: Video for the song Just Another Night[mare] by SKARLETT
Directed by Trilla Joosten and Sean Medina of Rated 3G Records.
Band Biography: Began as a one piece band in March of 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma by vocalist Adrian Hixenbaugh, SKARLETT gained much success on the internet from the release of their first single "The Dreamer". Upon the release drummer Lone NJ (Devon Bosque) was recruited into the band. His actual name was not given due to his obligations with another band at the time. Along with Bosque, many other members were recruited into the band, but none remained an official member for more than a short period of time. SKARLETT then announced the release of a second single which would feature Denis Shaforostov (formerly of Make Me Famous) entitled "Just Another Night[mare]", which would be accompanied by a music video. Upon working with Denis, the manager for Make Me Famous (Capture The Crown, Crown The Empire, and formerly manager of Asking Alexandria) took an interest in the band. Shortly after, SKARLETT released a cover of Maroon 5's Payphone. The music video for Just Another Night[mare] was released on August 31st, 2012. It was met with mixed reviews. Shortly afterward, it was revealed to fans that SKARLETT was parting ways with drummer Devon Bosque.
In a video update, Adrian also revealed that SKARLETT had been working along side the former manager of Make Me Famous and that it was everyone's intent to follow in the footsteps of Capture The Crown and Asking Alexandria. It was also announced that SKARLETT would continue as a one-piece, and that all offers that had been made to the band would be declined, as Adrian had stated that he had intentions of starting a family and that life on the road would conflict with his personal beliefs. Following the video update, a teaser for a new single was released with the title "Those Who Live By The Sword...", although a release date was not given. A few weeks later, Adrian made an announcement on the SKARLETT facebook page that he would begin ministering to people on the Facebook page, and that people were more than welcome to seek prayer and council. This was met with mixed responses, and has caused quite a bit of controversy surrounding the band. On January 4th, 2013, SKARLETT re-released their second single Just Another Night[mare] with lead singer Adrian's vocals in place of Denis Shaforostov's during the chorus. The re-release has been met with very positive reception with many praising the track as being "much better than the other version." The music video for Just Another Night[mare] has also been re-released along with the re-released track.
