The ascent of Glyder Fach by the Bristly Ridge route that leads from Bwlch Tryfan. The start of Bristly Ridge in Bwlch Tryfan can be reached after the scramble up and over Tryfan or by easier routes from Cwm Bochlwyd or The Miner's Track. However, it is to be noted that Bristly Ridge involves a higher competency and confidence in scrambling ability than the established routes up Tryfan. Being comfortable regards exposure to heights is also beneficial! If you have approached Bwlch Tryfan with the intention to climb Bristly Ridge but have done so avoiding Tryfan because of terrain difficulty, please opt for one of the other routes onto the Glyders.
