The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has been constantly enhancing the digitization framework with the ultimate goal of paying out social security benefits in a timely manner post retirement to subscribers or to their nominees on a member’s demise. Towards this, the processes have been made simple, transparent and technology-driven. Launching of the e-Nomination facility on the EPFO members portal is yet another step in this direction aimed at accelerating the settlement of PF and pension claims.



The ultimate objective of maintaining an EPF and EPS account is to ensure that social security benefits are made available promptly in the hour of need to the member or to his/her nominee in the unfortunate event of the death of the member. Hence it is important to ensure that every PF / EPS member updates information about his nominee’s details to enable settlement of funds in a seamless manner. Employers are required to obtain details of nominees at the time of initial membership and onboarding of the employee.

Requirements for Filling e- nomination

For MEMBER :
1.ACTIVATED AND ADHAR LINK UAN
2.MOBILE NUMBER TO BE LINKED WITH AADHAAR
3.UPDATED MEMBER PROFILE AND PHOTOGRAPH AND ADDRESS

For Family/Nominee:
1. SCANNED PHOTOGRAPH OF THE INDENTED NOMINEE .
(JPG Format -Size ( 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm )
2.AAADHAAR ,BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER WITH IFSC AND ADDRESS OF INDENTDED NOMINEE .
