Mayor Eric Adams and New York City officials announced new waste bin rules that will go into effect later this year. The mayor said buildings with 1-9 residential units will be required to put their trash in wheelie bins starting Nov. 12. The rule was announced along with the first-ever official NYC Bin equipped with wheels and a lid.
