There's been a nod of appreciation to the international community in Singapore. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said they have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Singaporeans through the COVID-19 pandemic. He acknowledged their difficulties, as families endured long periods away from loved ones abroad. Mr Lee made the remarks in a video message recognising the contributions of United World College South East Asia to Singapore's international education landscape since it opened here five decades ago.
