Google Display ads show up on other websites when the user may be checking the latest news, sports results or trying to find a special gift for their love.

The point being is that when someone sees your Google Display Ad they are not currently in the buying or problem solving mode - in that they are not searching for a specific product or service right now.

So with this in mind, to use Google Ads Display Campaigns correctly they should:
- Be used after you have had a search or shopping campaign running for at least 30 days
- Have seperate ad groups which are targeting specific audiences
