How to Sew a Fitted Face Mask with Removable Wire Casing, Filter Pocket and T-Shirt Tie.

PRINT AND CUT PATTERN
Download PDF pattern to computer, open, and print at 100% with no scaling. 
Cut out four mirrored images of fabric. 2 Main & 2 Lining.
Cut a T-shirt tie 1" x  30", cut a nose wire casing 6" x 1.5".

PRESS & SEW CASING
Main: Press raw edge under 1/4", fold over and press under an additional 3/4"
Lining: Fold raw edge over 3/4" press, fold over and press an additional 3/4".

SEW MAIN & LINING FABRICS
Place the mask pieces right sides together and pin along the outward curve of the fabric.
Sew the curve with a 3/8ths inch seam allowance, removing pins as you go. Press the seams to the side

CREATE WIRE CASING AND SEW
Press wire casing 1/4" under on top and sides.
Align raw edge of casing with raw edge of mask lining and pin.
Place main mask on top of lining with right sides together.
Sew around entire mask, making sure main fabric extended tabs are open.

TURN RST & TOPSITCH
Turn the mask right side out. Roll out the seams and press.
Topstitch around entire mask 1/4" from edge.
Topstitch along long edge of wire casing to secure it to the lining.

CREATE TIE CASING
Create casing by folding extended tab inwards to meet lining.
Sew along the innermost fold to secure the casing in place.

THREAD T-SHIRT CASING
Cut wire 6.5" . Turn ends inward 1/4" Slide into Casing.
Attach safety pin to T-shirt tie and feed upwards through right-hand casing and downwards
