This is the moment a family party almost turned to tragedy when a huge sinkhole opened up and dumped the seven dancing women into a cesspit.
The revellers had been jumping up and down on the concrete when the ground suddenly gave way and swallowed them in the courtyard of a house in the Brazilian city of Alagoinhas.
They had come together to celebrate a birthday of a family member and one of the victims, Epilator Gabriela Carvalho, 38, said that it was the home of her grandmother.
She said that the family had always had their parties there since "forever" and that there had never been any problems before.
She said there were celebrating a birthday and dancing around and everything was going well when suddenly a huge hole in the ground opened up.
They have been dancing to the song "Tem Cabare Essa Noite", by Nivaldo Marques and Nattan with the dancing recorded by her daughter Gabriela.
She said: "We were apparently dancing on the exact spot over the hole and we just fell right inside it."
She said they started to feel the ground moving but it happened too quickly to escape.
Six of the women suffered minor scratches and bruises.
Meanwhile, repair work is being carried out to cover the cesspit properly and get ready for the next family party.
