Why train isometrics?
📊 When we hold an isometric, the muscle slowly shortens and the tendon slowly lengthens.
There’s emerging evidence surrounding the viscoelastic tendon creep (slow lengthening) that occurs during isometrics and how it can help rearrange and rebuild tendon properties.
🗓️ Consistency matters. Rebuilding tendon doesn’t happen with one workout or trying isometrics for a week.
Be consistent for at least a month especially if you’re having persistent pain.
