"Ethiopian Waltz" is a smooth jazz tune based on traditional Ethiopian motives. The words of the song are based on the deeply emotional poem "Ripe and Raw" by the famous contemporary Ethiopian writer Zewdu Milikit. The smooth voice of Turkish singer Ezgi İrem Mutlu combined with the mesmerizing sound of the Turkish flute kaval played by the Turkish master kaval player Batuhan Aydın create a unique and yet strangely familiar listening experience for lovers of jazz music and world music sounds alike.
