Try this wonderful Lauki Chana Dal Sabzi recipes which has a perfect blend of spices to give a equally healthy recipe, best for any meal of the day. This sabzi is very easy to make with simple easily available ingredients and yet get a delicious flavour.

Servings: 6 to 7
Ingredients
1 cup chana dal/ split chick peas lentils
500 grams bottle gourd/ lauki
1/2 tsp salt
1/4th tsp turmeric powder
2 cups water
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/4th tsp asfoetida/ hing
2 bay leaves
3 to 4 cloves
2 dried red chillies
1 chopped green chilli
1/2 inch grated ginger
4 tomatoes' puree
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves/ kasuri methi
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
