On Tuesday, Rent-a-Cab license holders met with Assistant Director of Transport Francisco Vaz to discuss grievances related to the installation of Vehicle Location Tracking Devices (VLTD). The owners expressed concerns over the high cost of the devices, which they feel is prohibitive. They also raised the issue of road tax, highlighting that the yearly tax payment has now been converted into a lifetime payment. The Assistant Director assured them that action would be taken if the grievances are submitted in writing.
