Fishrot accused Ricardo Gustavo will be released from custody if he deposits N$800 000 for bail, judge Herman Oosthuizen says.
Gustavo is accused of hijacking a state fishing donation meant for Angola worth more than N$150 million.
Gustavo will have to report to the police twice a day and will be confined to his home at Finkenstein Estate most of the day.
He may not come closer than 25km to the Hosea Kutako International Airport, closer than 1km to Eros Airport, and may be required to wear a global positioning system device so that his movements can be monitored 24/7.
He should report to the police twice daily, restricting him to his home and forbidding contact with witnesses and his co-accused in the Fishrot case.
