Garlic day is coming up pretty soon and we've got something garlicky for you!
That's right! Bak Kut Teh! A warm, hearty, and (surprisingly) easy meal to prepare.
All you need is:
• 2/3 pound pork ribs – large cut
• 4 cup water
• 10-12 clove garlic
• 1 packet Bak Kut Teh spices
• 2 cup cabbage – large squared
• 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
• 1 tbsp dark soya sauce
• 1 tbsp oyster sauce
• A pinch of salt
• Some spring onion (scallion) – chopped
Let’s get started!
• Blanch pork ribs in hot water
• Season ribs with salt, pepper, oyster sauce, and light soy sauce.
• Mix well
• Boil water in Naturamic Pressure cooker
• Add in 10 cloves of garlic
• Add in marinated pork
• Add in Bak Kut Teh spices
• Add in cabbage
• Mix well
• Cover pressure cooker and set to level 2
• Pressure cook till indicator shows level 2
• Depressurize
• Add 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
• Mix and serve with some coriander
There you have it! Simple, nutritious and yummy!
