During the 7th World Congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy), the Multiple Myeloma Hub spoke with Noopur Raje, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, US. We asked, When is the optimal time to start talking with your patient about CAR T cells?

Raje believes it is never too early or late to discuss CAR T-cell therapy, based on data demonstrating high response rates in heavily pretreated and newly diagnosed patients. However, she describes the logistical benefits of discussing CAR T-cell therapy earlier.
