This week we harvest the grapes to make quality wine. Starting with net removal and the pick itself, we then process the fruit through a crusher/destemmer and inoculate the must to begin ferment. Nothing ever goes smoothly, and this certainly was the case this time, with vandalism resulting in loss of power and a fox damaging nets and letting birds in only days before harvest.
